浅間山を正面に見る軽井沢の山中でありながら、軽井沢駅からも中軽井沢駅からも車で約10分のところに志音窯はあります。
春には山野草や花木が芽吹き、深い緑の木々に囲まれる夏、窓のすぐそこから遠くの山まで紅葉が続く秋の後、厳しい冬には、真っ白な雪に動物の足跡を見つけ、多くの生き物と共にこの自然を共有していることを肌で感じながら作陶を続けています。
Although it is located in the mountains of Karuizawa sitting right in front of Mt. Asama, Shiongama is only about 10 minutes away by car from either Karuizawa and Naka-Karuizawa stations. Wild grasses and flowers sprout in the spring, surrounded by deep green trees in summer time. When the leaves turn red from just behind the window to the mountains far away after fall, and in the severe winter, we find animal tracks in the pure white snow, and continue to making ceramics while understanding the fact that we share this nature with many living things.
